The Great Wall of China
Today I’m launching a new addition to the blog: The Photo Of The Day. Every day I will put up a picture from my travels along with a description or story associated with the image. Let me know what you think.
My first full day in China I went on a “tour” of the great wall with a dozen other people from the hostel. The tour included transportation to and from the wall, about 3 hours up on the wall, and a couple bottles of water. It took us about 90 minutes to get there, but we went to a pretty deserted spot which was great. For most of the day, our group were the only ones up there. Aside from a little rain early on, it ended up being pretty clear as well.
