One of my days in Bejing was spent doing the Lama and Confucian temples in the morning and then heading to the 798 Art district later that day. It was a great day filled with some great temples and art. So far, the Lama Temple has been the most active temple I’ve been to (visitors as opposed to tourists). There seemed to be many many different places to pray, and plenty of incense to go around.
