A porter brings materials down Mt. Emei to the various stations where they sell water, snacks and the occasional noodle.
One of the many porters we would pass on our way up the mountain. These guys are loaded to the hilt with all manner of goods headed to monasteries and stations dotting the mountain path. Toward the top, they even had pairs of porters who would carry up a person for the right fee.
