The legs and feet of Beijing residents practicing their calligraphy in parks all over the city.
Just like the Ribbon Dancers that practice in the parks across Beijing, one of the activities I saw people doing was Calligraphy. Using a brush made out of a sponge and a bucket of water they would stoically and deliberately practice their characters even as the ones before evaporated into nothing.
