The Terracotta Army in Xi’an, China, are one of the big things on most Flashpacker to-do lists while traveling the country, and they are quite a sight. Â The location is set up quite well, with three main pits displaying how they’re found, how they’re put back together, and finally what you see above, the warriors displayed as they would have been. Â It’s difficult to provide a sense of scale, but just think that each of these is life size, no two faces are alike, and they’ve found over 8,000 of them so far.
